서독과 동독의 통일이라는 큰 역사적 배경에서 특정한 두 개인의 관계의 성질, 특히 친밀함의 성질에 대해 보여줍니다.
아무도, 아무것도 침투할 수 없는 꽉 막힌 두 사람만의 관계가 어떤 모습인지 보면서 통제할 수 없는것을 통제하려는, 소유의 개념이 아닌 것을 소유하려는 과정에서 나오는 고약하고 어두운 것들에 대한 성찰을 해볼 수 있습니다.
