We're reading "The Island of Sea Women" by Lisa See for our next meeting.
지난 일요일 Sejong Book Club의 첫 모임을 가졌습니다. 첫 책 ‘Nightcrawling’은 누구에게도 편안한 읽기가 아니었음이 분명했지만 그 ‘불편함’에 대하여 토론하며 즐겁고 의미있는 저녁시간을 보냈습니다.
에스더어학원은 초중고 학생들의 영어 교육 뿐만 아니라 외국인을 포함하여 대학생 이상의 성인들에게도 원서독서를 장려하고 자유롭게 토론할 수 있는 문학적/문화적 소통과 교류의 공간이 되고자 합니다. 하지만 Sejong Book Club은 어학원의 프로그램과는 별개의 것으로, 해당 책을 읽고, 영어로 소통이 가능한 대학생 이상의 성인에 한해 누구나 참석 가능합니다. 참석은 무료입니다.
다음은 9월에 있을 두 번째 모임과 토론하게 될 책에 대한 소개입니다.
